Teacher Appreciation Month Spotlight: Tammie Rice of Holly Springs ES STEM Academy!
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating a school 2025 Teacher of the Year each day! Fourth-grade math and science teacher Tammie Rice, a 19-year educator, is the Teacher of the Year for Holly Springs ES STEM Academy!
“Classroom transformations, hands-on learning, and perfectly blended technology are just a few of the ways that Tammie makes learning fun and easily accessible for her students,” a colleague shared. “I have seen, first-hand, students standing outside her room excitedly waiting to come in and see what she has planned for them that day. As a co-teacher, I also had the joy of seeing her ideas come to life and see how they reinforced skills with innovative ideas. There was never a dull day in Mrs. Rice’s class.”
